Jessica Myrie is a Canadian award winning actress, host and producer with impressive credentials in film and television, that include award winning short film ‘She Waits’ which she won her first acting award for Best Actress in a short film from the International Black and Diversity Film Festival. Jessica won Best Actress Awards at the Toronto Nollywood International Black & Diversity Film Festival and The Inaugural Canadian Black Screen Awards for her lead role in the feature film Irreconcilable Differences. Jessica has co-starred in the television Peacock Original series ‘Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol’. She has also appeared in Episodic Docuseries, which includes Vice TV’s The Dark Side of The 90’s Spice Girls episode, where she played the role of Mel B (Scary Spice). She also has appeared in numerous national and international commercials. Jessica is the host for streaming channel Black Business Live.
She is also co-founder of non-profit organization Black Actors Canada. Born in Toronto, Ontario to parents of Jamaican origin, from an early age she wanted to become an actress and was acting in school talent shows and that’s when she discovered her love for performing arts.
